Shivneri Polytechnic, Junnar offers diploma programmes in various engineering branches and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Shivneri Polytechnic follows a structured admission process designed to select qualified candidates for its diploma programmes.

The eligibility criteria for Shivneri Polytechnic admission to the diploma programmes are usually a pass in 10th standard or equivalent examination from any recognised board. • Fill up the Shivneri Polytechnic application form with all the personal and academic details. All the fields in the application form must be correctly filled.
• Collect all the documents required. 
• The above-mentioned application form with the attachment of necessary documents shall be submitted either online or personally to the Shivneri Polytechnic admission office of the institute.
• An application fee payable to the institute has to be paid by the applicant. The medium of payment and the details may be availed through the institute's website or from the admission office.
• After applying, candidates would have to appear for counselling or interview if demanded by the institute.
• The selected candidates would be offered admission and have to accept the same within the stipulated time by paying the necessary fee and completing all formalities of admission.

• The three-year full time Diploma in Civil Engineering course covers fields of civil engineering. Shivneri Polytechnic admission shall be strictly made on the basis of merit in qualifying examination, that is, 10th standard and the relevant entrance test. Students shall be equipped with skills to design structural work and to execute the construction of projects and manage projects.
• Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is a three-year diploma programme in electronics and telecommunication engineering. All these diploma programmes take into consideration the Shivneri Polytechnic admission process based on the candidate's academic performance in the 10th standard, with much consideration to Mathematics and Science subjects. Students gain practical knowledge of electronic circuits, communication systems, and signal processing.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a three-year course which is provided for the full development of mechanical systems and manufacturing processes. The students are selected according to marks secured in the 10th standard with entrance examination wherever applicable. It has a mixture of theoretical as well as practical classes.
