Shivratna Institute of Management Studies Solapur, belonging to the VPM’s group, is an affiliated college situated at Shankarnagar, Akluj, in the Malshiras taluka of the Solapur district of Maharashtra. Although the year of establishment is unspecified, the institute has carved a niche in education within the region. Located on a mere 4 acres of land, the institute today has a strength of only 153 students and is staffed by 7 teaching faculty. 

Shivratna Institute of Management Studies boasts varied facility amenities, most of which are aimed to support the student experience. Others include the provision of separate hostels for boys and girls, thus ensuring an adequate living standard for outstation students. The facility has a resource department in the form of a library duly filled with books to enhance learning. An auditorium supports sequences of various occasions and seminars pertaining to extracurricular activities and know-how dissemination. The BBA programme admission at Shivratna Institute of Management Studies is through the passing of a Common Entrance Test which is conducted by the college.
