Shree Dhanvantary College of Engineering and Technology (SDCET), one of the popular and accredited educational institutes of Surat, Gujarat, was established in the year 2013. Being a co-educational institute, its campus area spans 8 acres. It has also received affiliated college approval from the All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE. SDCET offers diverse courses in engineering in four Diploma courses and three B.Tech. Programmes with an enrollment of 250 students. It has a good faculty strength of 43 dedicated professionals.

There are numerous adequate and quite modern in nature to impart the required level of education. Along with it, the library is well equipped which was established in the year 2013 and comprises comprehensive textbooks, reference materials, magazines, and digital resources for students and staff. For the sports-minded students, there are facilities for table tennis, cricket, volleyball, and carom in SDCET. Physical fitness and team spirits are inculcated through these games. A canteen is provided to all faculty members, staff, and students. It operates from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and offers all types of refreshments and daily needs items. Shree Dhanvantary College of Engineering and Technology provides outstation students with the opportunity to stay at the accommodation it offers, which includes boys and girls' hostels. The admissions offered to boys' and girls' hostels are 42 and 28, respectively, so that a comfortable stay is facilitated for them during their academic journey.

SDCET offers a total of 7 courses across two degree levels: Diploma and B.Tech. All these are full-time regular courses. Four diploma programmes from the institution include Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
