Shri Vijay Mahantesh Arts Science and Commerce College, Bagalkot Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has hostels for boys. These are situated on the campus and have a very cool, serene, and salubrious atmosphere. Economically weaker students benefit from the hostel. The wardens look after these hostels. The hostiles will be provided with items with chairs, tables, cots, and cupboards. The hostel is provided with a Purified drinking water facility, and for other uses hostel is provided with water from the Municipal corporation as well as through a bore installed on the campus. The water facility is available 24 hours. The hot water facility is meant for each host. The mess is run on the contract system. It is arranged such that students can take meals conveniently without affecting the classes during lunch breaks. Breakfast and Tea will also be served in the mess, and for this extra amount, you will have to pay. Only vegetarian food is available in the mess.

The Library also collects material relating to the people and communities of the SVM Arts, Science & Commerce region to help preserve the local historical record. Online access to many licensed research databases, e-journals, and e-books is available on our campus. The campus library has study areas, access to computer workstations, library circulation and reference services, and computer printing and photocopy services. Our library is well-equipped with reference books, textbooks, Journals, periodicals & newspapers, etc. In the library, we use the D.D.C. classification system.
