Shridevi Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET) is a private engineering college located in Tumkur, Karnataka. It was established in the year 2002 and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. The institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). SIET offers undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. courses in engineering and technology. The courses offered are Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in various disciplines, Master of Technology (MTech) in selected disciplines, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Ph.D. Shridevi Institute of Engineering and Technology (SIET) offers admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses through competitive exams such as COMEDK UGET/ KCET/ GATE/ Karnataka PGCET.

Tumkur KSRTC Bus Stand is the nearest bus stand, which is 4.6 kilometers away from the campus. SIET facilitates transport facilities to and from its Tumakuru campus. In addition, auto rickshaws and city buses are also available to assist with getting to the SIET campus.
