Shrimant Bhaiyyasaheb Rajemane Mahavidyalaya, Mhaswad Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

• The library is playing an important role in supporting the academic program in the college. It is an integral part and the educational process in the college campus. It was established immediately after the establishment of the college in 1997.
• High-quality higher education calls for its well-stocked and staffed library with an effective information retrieval system within the reach and all concerned. The library helps the teachers, students, and researchers to explore the latest in related to their field and interest. It also helps them to get in through defined media that can be useful for them for writing their research paper, dissertation, thesis, etc. The existing library occupies an area and 1600 sq/ ft.  On the ground floor of the main college building. The library has open access. It has a rich collection of 13,500 books. The library collection includes textbooks, Reference books, Handbooks, Encyclopedias, Book volumes, and periodicals. The collected works of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi, and other important personalities are also available in the library. Light reading magazines, Novels, and story books in Hindi, Marathi, English literature, etc. are also available. Apart from the book library, I subscribed to Indian and foreign journals/periodicals and newspapers.
• The entire library book collection is classified according to the DDC ( Dewey Decimal Classification). The library is partially computerized with the help of LIBMAN  ( Library software ). The Circulation transactions, Barcode, etc. Work will be carried out with the help and this software. The library has open access. i.e., Readers are free to move into the stack for browsing and selecting any desired items. Recently library has started a digital library service. Users can use it anywhere and anytime through the digital library platform.

• College Canteen is located on the beautiful site of campus. It has fresh surroundings with plenty of pollution-free air and plenty of availability of sunlight.
• Canteen is divided into three different sections, and each one is reserved for the Staff, gents students, and ladies' students. The canteen authority serves good quality and fresh food items to the consumers.
• There is a separate Canteen Committee to have a timely watch on the preparation and quality of the products.

The College has a well-furnished and spacious Auditorium equipped with ICT to organize various functions, seminars, conferences, and workshops for Staff and students.

The Department of Sports and Physical Education has been working efficiently since its establishment in 1997. It provides multiple facilities and opportunities to students for participation in sports events at the University and national levels. The basic facilities include a 200-meter standard track. Separate two Volleyball grounds, two Kho-Kho grounds, two Kabaddi grounds, and also open Gym facilities.

• The National Service Scheme (NSS) is under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, and the NSS cell, Higher and Technical Education, Govt. of Maharashtra, and Shivaji University, Kolhapur. College has two units of NSS, 200 volunteers are selected on the basis of social awareness, involvement in society, and ability for social work. We are organizing a blood donation camp, a COVID vaccination, a tree plantation, women empowerment, a cleanliness programme, the construction of CCT bandhara, rallies on a variety of social issues, like voter day awareness, and AIDS awareness.
• Lectures on personality development, women empowerment, eradication of superstition, save water campaign, e-payment campaign, and other social topics

The college also provides workshop facilities for all the students.

Our college has 13 classrooms, including 04 ICT-enabled and one smart classroom. We conduct courses of UG in B.A., B.Com, BSc ,and PG in M.A. (History). The  College runs in two sessions, Arts and Commerce at the morning and Science and PG in the afternoon.

The institute has well-equipped 05 laboratories as per the University norms, having computer and internet facilities for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Geography.

The college has an ICT-enabled classroom with a smart board, sound system, and seating capacity of 120 students is available.

The college has an open Gymkhana with well facilities.

The college also provides Training and Placement opportunities for all the students.

The college also provides Parking facilities for all the students and Staff.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.
