Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education and offered by Assam University, Silchar.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/ Humanity, Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification, equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.

Admission Details

Admission Shall be Made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/U.T. Administration and the university.

College Infrastructure

The college is good in terms of facilities and infrastructure. It has all the required things for the B.Ed department. The library has good collection of education related books which we need for being a teacher. the campus is small but clean and food is hygienic.

Classes are good and teachers but placement is weak.

College Infrastructure

The college has the basic setup needed for B.Ed training, classrooms, a library with education related books and facilities available. The campus is not very large . But it is neat and student-friendly. There are seminar halls and space for workshops.

College Infrastructure

The college has a modest facilities, infrastructure, and equipment. The classrooms are okay but some facilities should be there like wifi, sports center, and smart boards etc. The living spaces are clean and the food is good.
