The college was established in 2003 with the approval of the Medical Council of India (MCI). On 17th January 2007 Deemed University status was awarded to the University U/S 3 of the UGC Act of 1956. Smt. B. K. Shah Medical Institute & Research Centre is one of the constituents of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth. The college offers multiple degrees and courses in the stream of Medicine and Allied Sciences. SBKSMIRC UG courses include MBBS while MD&MS are SBKSMIRC PG courses, and doctoral programmes like M.Ch & D.M. are also covered in SBKSMIRC. All the courses are covered in full-time mode. SBKSMIRC eligibility criteria must be fulfilled before applying for admission. The SBKSMIRC admissions will be based on the NEET UG for UG courses, NEET PG for PG courses, and NEET SS for doctoral courses. Hello,

The total fee for MBBS in smt BK Shah medical institute and research centre Vadodara is 90.38K, the duration of the course is of 5.5 years, and the exam accepted for admission in same is NEET Entrance exam, the total number of seats for the same in the college are 150 seats.
The minimum eligibility criteria to get admission in the same is that the candidate must have passed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.
