On 17th January 2007 Deemed University status was awarded to the University U/S 3 of the UGC Act of 1956. Smt. B. K. Shah Medical Institute & Research Centre is a private constituent of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Waghodia.
The SBKSMIRC offers MBBS, MD, MS, DM, and M.Ch courses in the stream of Medicine and Allied Sciences. All the courses are offered in full-time mode. The candidates applying for the courses must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria as specified by SBKSMIRC.
