Smt Padambai Kapurchandji Kotecha Mahila Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 1984. It is a women's college affiliated to Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Nashik and is located in the city of Bhusawal, Maharashtra. This college has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with grade B. The college offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, covering its campus on 2.5 acres of land and having a student enrolment of 686 along with 27 faculty members.

Smt. Padambai Kapurchandji Kotecha Mahila Mahavidyalaya is well-furnished with modern facilities to complement students' learning. There is a well-furnished girls' hostel that can accommodate 80 girls in a safe and comfortable environment. The campus also boasts of an excellent gymnasium, which encourages the physical fitness and well-being among students and staff members. The library also acts as a source of knowledge where there are 15,778 books, 34 journals, and 380 CDs with an expansible reading hall which can accommodate 75 students. It provides a large number of courses because it is blessed with diverse academic choices. 

Smt. Padambai Kapurchandji Kotecha Mahila Mahavidyalaya provides undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses at 21 levels. The IT infrastructure owns 113 computers out of which 84 are on BSNL broadband, ensuring that every student has internet connectivity for academic and administrative purposes. There are basketball, volleyball, football, and kabaddi grounds for sports enthusiasts.

Undergraduate programmes BA in English, Hindi, Marathi, Economics, Political Science and Psychology; B. Com; B.Sc in Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Botany, Physics and Biotechnology; BCA Post graduate programmes MA in Hindi and English, M. Com, M. Sc in Computer Science and Organic Chemistry, and MBM, Master of Business Management. The institute also awards a Diploma in Communicative English. All are full-time programmes. Combined student intake of all the programmes taken together is 686. 

Admission to Smt. Padambai Kapurchandji Kotecha Mahila Mahavidyalaya is purely on First Come, First Serve basis strictly within the policy and guidelines laid down by the Government of Maharashtra, the University Grants Commission (UGC) and North Maharashtra University (NMU) Jalgaon. The college offers postgraduate courses purely on merit except in courses like BCA and MBM where the NMU Jalgaon conducts a centralised entrance examination for admission.
