Sree Jagadguru Fakireshwara Government First Grade College, Shirahatti Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has a library which is more than 23 years old. It houses more than 15,000 books to cater to the academic needs of our students. Every year the library uses the grants available to it in the best possible ways to meet the growing demands of students. At the beginning of the year, library cards are issued to students to borrow books. Specific days are assigned to each class to avoid crowds. Closed-circuit cameras have also been installed inside the library to monitor the student’s activities. This has avoided incidents of page tearing or even stealing of books that were reported rarely in the past.

The College has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. The first-aid facility is available in the College

The College gives equal importance to extra-curricular activities it motivates the students to take part in sports and cultural activities regularly Sports equipment like football throw balls, softball, volleyball, shuttle bats and cocks, carom board, chess, table tennis boards are available to the students in addition to complete cricket kit. The same will be provided to the students.

The College has a  full-fledged computer lab, internet facility is the most important facility provided by the college. One computer laboratory with 20 computers with internet facilities.

The College has Members of alumni who visit frequently and guide our students about further opportunities.

The College has one common auditorium with an ICT facility. A seminar hall serves the purpose of an auditorium.

The College has a Gym facility for the students.

The College has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
