Sree Krishna College at Guruvayur started in 1964 is one of the noble institutions in the Thrissur, Kerala. This affiliated college is an extended college over 36 acres area and has been accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college has a total of 1,633 students and 46 instructors in faculty the college has 21 courses across 7 degree programmes. It has nearly equal gender representation; 67% of female students in undergraduate and 91% in postgraduate studies. Sree Krishna College boasts of its composite labs in Physics, Botany, Commerce, Sanskrit, Malayalam with Journalism streams.

Sree Krishna College is provided with modern facilities that are necessary for the better provision of college education to its learners. Over 55,000 books are available in the library as part of the academic facility, and OPAC, N-List INFLIBNET is also incorporated. The campus has very good Computer Centre, internet facility and sports complex. Out of town students they are provided with separate hostel for boys and girls. The college offers career courses that include full courses under Arts, Science and Commerce streams.
