48 MonthsB.Sc - Respiratory Therapy is 4 year degree program which aims to impart knowledge and the necessary clinical skills required to evaluate, diagnose and provide care to patients with cardiopulmonary problems. Students are trained to give medication, aerosol therapy, Pulmonary function tests, Oxygen therapy, Blood gas determinations, Airway management, mechanical ventilation amongst other clinical procedures during their course of study and compulsory internship.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age : Minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum age limit is 30 years on or before 31st December of year of Admission
- Qualification : HSC / 10+2 / Plus two or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Botany & Zoology / Biotechnology
- Percentage of Marks : Minimum 50 % aggregate of marks in PCB
- Candidates who studied abroad should possess equivalent qualification as determined by Association of Indian Universities
