M.Sc.- Master in Respiratory Therapy is a 2 years Post graduate program designed to provide in depth knowledge in Respiratory therapy. Respiratory therapy is an allied medical speciality concerned with evaluation and treatment of patient with respiratory ailments . The field of Respiratory therapy is growing rapidly. This speciality is intended to train the students to assist the respiratory physicians in performing PFT, Bronchoscopy, Thoracoscopy and other interventional procedures. The students will also be involved in teaching of undergraduate students and in other Research related activities of the Department of Respiratory Medicine. They will also be trained in pulmonary rehabilitation and intensive care management that offer opportunities to the Respiratory therapist.
