A new generation hospitality education institution, St. Francis Institute of Hotel Management, abbreviated as SFIHM, was established in the year 2022 and is situated at Borivali West, Mumbai. This is a co-educational institute that is affiliated with the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) and offers special programs in hospitality and hotel administration. SFIHM employs 6 faculty staff members and offers 3 courses at 2 levels of degrees offered. 

SFIHM has committed itself to the provision of quality learning facilities in order to provide its students with the best experience. The institute boasts a library with new textbooks and periodicals to cover most aspects of hospitality management, such as kitchen management, food and beverage services, housekeeping, bakery, front office, bartending skills, and wines. Regarding the practical session, SFIHM has provided state-of-the art training in the kitchen, restaurant, and bakery, which have all modern facilities. It also has its computer laboratory full of twenty-five functional computers, embracing the modern technology available within the institute and industry. Sensitising its campus for the development of a more balanced student, SFIHM provides both enclosed and open-air sports amenities. The auditorium, which is air-conditioned and acoustically treated with a seating capacity of 400 students, is used for seminars, cultural programmes and different training programmes.

Courses that are delivered at St. Francis Institute of Hotel Management include a total of 3 full-time courses, which mainly specialise in different areas of hospitality. Admission into the de St. Francis de Institute of Hotel Management is highly dependent on the National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination. The above-stated All India Joint Entrance Examination is conducted by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) for all the institutes affiliated with SFIHM. The exam acts as the door to allowing the new students for the B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration along with diploma courses in Food Production and Housekeeping.
