Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in Analytics is a three-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by St Joseph's College of Commerce, Bangalore and affiliated to Bangalore University, Bangalore.

Eligibility Criteria

It is mandatory for all candidates seeking admission to the 1st year of the degree course to have successfully completed 12 years of Schooling through an examination conducted by a Board/University. Mandatory eligibility for the Programme is a pass at the +2 level (ISC/CBSE/ other state boards/International Board and Karnataka PU Board) inany stream of Commerce or Sciencewith a minimum of 70%.

Admission Details

Entrance Examination (Round 1 & Round 2)

The Entrance Examination for the Bachelor of Commerce (Analytics) Programme will be conducted in the online mode in two sessions. The first session of entrance examination (Round 1 & Round 2) is scheduled in the month of April, 2022 and the second session of entrance examination (Round 1 & Round 2) in the month of May, 2022.

Round 1: St. Joseph’s Commerce Aptitude Test (SCAT)
The candidates will be tested in the areas of Basic Mathematics, Advanced Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation. The entrance exam paper will be for 50 marks consisting of 50 multiple choice questions (MCQs) for one mark each. The examination will be for a duration of one hour.

SCAT Question Paper Pattern:
Section A: Basic Mathematics & Advanced Mathematics
Section B: Logical reasoning and Data Interpretation

Guidelines:
• Section A will consist of 30 questions and Section B will consist of 20 questions.
• All questions are compulsory
• There will be no negative marking
Provisionally Selected candidates for Round 2 will be intimated through applicant login/E-mail.

College Infrastructure

While St. Joseph's College of Commerce (SJCC) may lack a spacious campus, its proximity to Brigade Road adds life and professionalism to the college. The campus itself is quite small yet highly efficient in making use of limited space; moreover, its prestige is instantly noticeable once you enter its premises. The classrooms are state-of-the-art ICT classes equipped with projectors and a sound system. Also, all the college premises are covered with Wi-Fi, thus being beneficial for checking students' attendance as well as doing a quick search before and after a lecture. If you are an avid bookworm, then SJCC will definitely be a dream come true for you due to its excellent library with more than 18,000 books and other high-quality digital resources. Though there is little space available, SJCC still offers some sports activities to enjoy in its fully equipped gym, active basketball court and football field. If you are hungry, then your best place to eat is the cafeteria; it is both cheap and tidy. Although SJCC cannot compete with spacious universities located outside Bangalore, the college boasts of high-quality auditoriums and laboratories which foster friendly atmosphere among students.
