I am pursuing B. Tech IT in SJCE College, which is big and clean with nice classrooms and labs for IT students. Library has many books and systems are available for practice. Campus looks neat and well maintained.
I know only my department. So I tell about Teaching in IT department is good. Teachers explain well and syllabus is followed properly. Students get chance to learn programming, databases, and projects. But rules are very strict and must follow always.
Placements are decent. Many IT companies visit and good number of students get jobs. The salary Packages are average but the opportunities are okay for IT students. The percentage of students were placed for high packages is low
Food quality is really good in canteen. Best part is weekly 2 days biriyani for lunch. Hostel students are happy, and for me as a day scholar, food is also tasty.
Campus life is little strict. Dress code must be followed, and rules are checked daily. There are events and activities, but enjoyment is less because of too many restrictions.
I am 3rd year AIML student from St. Joseph's College of Engineering. My college have buildings and labs, but for AIML department the facilities are not updated with modern tools or advanced systems. Most classrooms are basic and not designed for new technology learning.
Even though my course name is Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, the teaching is not good. Teachers only cover simple basics, not proper deep concepts. Curriculum is outdated and not match the real industry needs. Students expect to learn AI, ML, Python, and advanced projects, but not much is given.
Placements for AIML are not strong. Many companies want skilled AI and ML students, but since training is weak, only few students get placed. Packages are not high and most students search jobs outside.
Fees are high for AIML course. For the money, the quality of teaching and curriculum is not worth.
Campus is strict with less fun or activities
The St. Joseph's College of Engineering looks big from outside but inside it is not well maintained. Labs and classrooms are basic, not modern. Hostel life is tough with average food and not proper care for students.
Teaching is not fair for all students. Too much partiality and discrimination happen, so many students feel left out. Classes in St. Joseph's College of Engineering are boring, more focus only on marks not on real learning.
For St. Joseph's College of Engineering Placements, my college are not as they promise. Few students from good departments get jobs, but others struggle. Salary package is low and many companies not visit as told.
Buildings are okay but nothing special. Classrooms and labs are just basic, no creative or fun spaces for students. Hostel is boring place with nothing to do after classes. The living spaces are good and the food area in college also hygienic, clean.
In St. Joseph's College of Engineering, Coaching s simple but not exciting. Teachers only focus on syllabus, no interesting projects or extra activities. Practical learning is less, so classes feel dry and routine.
Placements are limited. Few companies visit and salaries are not high. Many students have to search job outside because college not bring enough good opportunities. My college's placements quality is not much better.
Campus life is dull. No enjoyment, no cultural fests, no sports events. After classes, nothing to do and atmosphere feel boring all the time. Strict rules maintained in campus.
The college has good buildings and clean classrooms. Labs have most of the equipment but some are a bit old. Boys Hostel is fine with basic needs, but food and maintenance can be better. The food timetable is same followed for whole year
Teaching staffs explain lessons in a simple way. Some subjects are taught very well, but others feel rushed. There is some practical learning, but it can be improved to help students understand more, clearly
Placements are okay. Some students get good jobs, but not everyone. Few big companies visit, and most offers are average salary. Placement coordinator in St. Joseph's College of Engineering tries to help but can improve more.
St. Joseph's College of Engineering have modern and clean buildings. Classrooms are bright with good seating. Labs have latest equipment. Hostel is neat and comfortable with all basic needs available.
Teaching is very good and easy to understand. Teachers are helpful and use practical examples. Syllabus is covered well and students get both theory and hands-on learning. There are additional trainings also given as PEP, HOPE in my college.
Placements opportunities in St. Joseph's College of Engineering are strong with many top companies visiting. Most students get good jobs with high packages. Placement cell supports students very well in the process.
Fees are reasonable for the facilities and placements provided. Quality of academics and support makes it worth every rupee spent on education here.
Campus is large, green, and full of life. Many events, fests, and clubs keep students active. Atmosphere is friendly, safe, and very supportive for personal growth.
College buildings look old and not well maintained. Classrooms are dull, fans and lights sometimes not work. Labs have broken equipment and hostel is not clean. The infrastructure of college is not attractive.
Teaching quality is poor, classes are boring and rushed. No proper practical learning. Many teachers not explain topics well, making it hard for students to understand. The hands on experience is required for students in college
Very few companies visit the campus. Most students have to search job outside. Salary offers are low and placement process is not supportive for all students. The procedure of placements in SJCE is hard
I am pursuing 3rd year IT in St. Joseph's College of Engineering. The college have all basic facility but not modern. Classrooms are ok but sometime fans not working. Labs have needed equipments but some are old. Hostel clean is average.
Teaching is normal but classes not much interesting. Some subjects explain well but some rush in syllabus. Practical knowledge is less and need more hands on training. Always they focus on CGPA, marks not in skills development.
Placement is good for some branch. Many company visit and give decent salary. Process is easy but few student not get job from campus. The quality of placements at St. Joseph's College of Engineering is good.
Fee is high but some worth because of placement chance. But for academics improvement needed to full value.
Campus is big and green. Many event happen and student enjoy fest. Friends and staff are supportive. Safety is good and location easy to reach.
Hi everyone. I am student from St. Joseph's College of Engineering in OMR, Chennai. I am very happy to write a review about my College. My college's infrastructure was too badly affected. No improvement made in this college facilities. The sport centres are not well maintained. The classrooms in this college are looking so old.
The teaching and mentoring staffs, coordinators, faculties are not good. There are very very strict rules in St. Joseph's College of Engineering. The dress code, rules are too strictly followed in this college. The curriculum following by this college is never changed to recent digital world.
The quality of placements is too worst. Because the placements will be not guarantee for everyone. There also strict rules are following. I heard from my seniors that if one student got selected by one company. He cannot allowed to attend other companies placements interviews.
This college costs huge money (nearly 5 lakhs per year) for course. I feel that getting this amount of money is not worthy. Because nowadays the company's expectations are very high, but no improvements made in studies till now.
The campus life is really worst for me. Because entertainment activities is not encouraged in this college. My College life expectations are too spoiled after joined this college.
The college infrastructure has all the necessary facilities, equipments. The living spaces in rooms of St. Joseph's College of Engineering . The library facilities, hostel facilities, food quality, all are fine
The teaching quality is fine. In the Book Bank, we have more than 13,223 titles of textbooks. In addition to the central library, students can get a maximum of 7 books which they can retain for the whole semester. This helps to gain good CGPA in exams.
The opportunity that the placements from St. Joseph's College of Engineering is always good. The percentage of students were placed through my college is i don't know about that exactly. The placement process is not easy
