Admission Process according to Degree
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): St. Mary's College has a B.Ed program, which is a two-year full-time course involving 100 seats. The admission for the B.Ed program is done on the merit basis depending on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection will be made according to the policies prescribed under the State Government and UT Administration affiliated to the university. For admission to the B.Ed course, the candidate should hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent by a recognized university.
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): Similar to B.Ed, the D.El.Ed programme is a full-time two-year course and can accommodate a yearly cohort of 50 students. The admission process for D.El.Ed is similar to that of B.Ed, merit-wise based on the state government policy. Eligibility criteria and requirement for D.El.Ed might change every academic year; therefore, the prospective student must verify the same before applying.
