Supply chain, sales, and inventory management course-oriented but without e-commerce and digital retailing orientation. Industry-oriented faculty but with opportunities for internship space in retailing brands that could be created.
College Infra
Well-maintained campus, state-of-the-art classrooms, and appropriate library. Simulation retail labs provide practical exposure, but Wi-Fi may improve. Recreation facilities and cafeteria are satisfactory.
Campus Life
Easy networking is facilitated by strong industry connections. Regular case study competitions and brand strategy competitions facilitate learning. Cultural activities, student clubs, and sports events add to campus life.
Placements
Best of the students get placements, primarily retail management, sales, and marketing positions at ₹3-6 LPA. MNC companies give limited placements, but Indian and local chain retail companies give placements in big numbers.

Undergraduate and postgraduate courses which are offered in the Saint Xaviers College of Ranchi are are bachelor of arts Bachelor of Commerce master of Arts master of Commerce and master of journalism and media communication.

It's a little different for both the colleges.
If you are willing to take admission in St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, then you have to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the college. The selection process is based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam. So, the board exam cut-off does not matter. However, candidates will be eligible to apply for admissions to this college only if he/she gets a minimum aggregate of 50% in 12th board exam from a recognized institute.
Candidates willing to take admission in Calcutta University should have completed 12th boards from a recognized institute with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The candidate has to apply to the respective colleges under Calcutta University & wait for the counselling process to begin. The cut off for BA Geography Hons. in Calcutta University cannot be predicted this year due to the confusion in the board exam results of the various boards but if you have got around 85% & above then you have a probability of getting a seat. Having said that, you should apply for your choice of college & wait for the counselling process to begin, you may get a seat.
