Sundarban B.Ed College, Kakdwip, is one of the highly reputed institutions of teacher training programmes. The Sundarban B.Ed College admission process is programmed to screen aspiring candidates for its two full-time degree courses: B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. The college adopts merit-based admissions as prescribed by the state as well as by the concerned affiliated university in West Bengal.
