Hello Aspirant! NMIMS is among the top institutions in India offers regular MBA courses although it is not much popular for distance learning program compared to IGNOU, Symbiosis, IMT, ICFAI & SMU. But we would like to say the quality of education is very good.
Just remember that distance learning programs are not very well-accepted by the industry. People consider them as mere certification programs, as such distance learning programs lack the critical elements like engrossed group projects, rigor of the full-time contact programs and peer learning.
So I would suggest that if you can afford please go ahead and do a full time 2 year PGDM program.
Hope this helps.

Hello,

I hope you are doing good,

From past reviews normal Government college under  Mumbai University have good placement records over private colleges but,

NMIMS, School of Business Management, Mumbai had an Amazing Deployment Season last year. Many product employers have participated in the summer and final placement. Some large corporations affirm their faith by offering desirable roles in all fields and by recruiting students in large numbers. 36.6% of the group received PPIs and PPOs.

THANK YOU!!!

Hi, NMIMS global access school for continuing education does have an online mode for M.Sc. in Applied Finance. The total cost of the course is 1.99 Lakh. The program is for 2 years but in online mode. They do have famous companies coming in for placements. Some of the companies are TATA, HDFC, AVIVA, CCD, etc. However when it comes to return on investment it is safe to say that the return on investment is great. The downside of this course is not many industries like an online degree. They believe in the on campus lectures. Plus, there are other better deals out there. Hope this helps.

Hello,

The chances are low because the seats are few and competition to grab that seat is more.

The admission is based on merit and more preference is given to the one whose score is better than others and which satisfies their requirements.

There are 50-50 chances to this. Don't keep your hopes high for this seat and don't lose hope.!!

All the best.!!

Hi, hope you are doing well!

Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies(NMIMS) is one of the pioneer private B-Schools in India. I used Careers360's Comparison Tool to answer your question and the following are the key takeaways from the comparison chart:

NMIMS Bangalore was established in 2008 whereas NMIMS Dhule has been established quite recently in 2018.

Student Intake is also much higher in NMIMS Bangalore (880) compared to NMIMS Dhule(120). The same is the case with Faculty, 34 in NMIMS Bangalore and 6 in NMIMS Dhule.

NMIMS Bangalore has all required facilities like Boys Hostel, Girls Hostel, WIFI, Cafeteria, Library, Hospital unlike in NMIMS Dhule which has only WIFI and Library facilties.

The number of course also is much higher in NMIMS Bangalore than in NMIMS Dhule.

To conclude, NMIMS Bangalore is way better than NMIMS Dhule. Please go through the detailed chart of comparison by Careers360: https://www.careers360.com/compare-colleges?college=7557-29662-course=0-0

Dear Anshika,

First of all, I am confused in 296. 296 is marks or rank.  You do not mention your category. So I am assuming that you belong to general category. If your rank is 24 then there is a  chance to get admission to the NMIMS . If your marks is 24 then there is no chance to get admission to the NMIMS.

Hello Student,

The competition in business schools is getting tougher day by day and hence, you need to secure good percentage because the cutoff trend is always on the higher side in the institute. Generally, a score ranging from 230 - 240 is equivalent to 99 percentile in NMAT. Candidate scoring 90 to 95 percentile are eligible to take admission in the college.

Since you have 78.24 percentile in NMAT, it is difficult for you to make it to the college. I will recommend you to appear for the exam game and score good marks.

All the best!

Both NMIMS Bangalore and Mumbai are good options but it's true that NMIMS Mumbai is better. It's really a tough choice between these two , however I would suggest you if you are getting a chance then don't let it go , take admission in NMIMS Bangalore because it will also be a very wise choice and the academic environment as well as placement records are very satisfactory in that campus also. So taking admission will be the right decision at this moment.

Hello aspirant,

It is difficult to predict your seat into college as NMIMS does not release a standard cut-off. The cut-offs vary every year. Rest be assured you have decent percentile. You can however, wait for the rank list or cut-offs to be published.

Thank you and good luck
