The college has a Medical Centre with all facilities and a first aid kit to cater for minor injuries and ailments is available on the college campus. However, in the case of an emergency student is referred to Govt. Civil Hospital, Bhucho Mandi (Bathinda).

The college has a library and the learning resource center plays a crucial role in supporting teaching and learning activities. To inculcate the ability in the students to think distinctly and critically, it is incumbent upon all of us to instill reading habits in them. Reading not only helps to gather novel ideas but also develops effective basic study and writing skills. The knowledge resource center reflects the teaching and learning commitment of the institute. To this cause, the college library has been enriched with a trove of books vital for the flexibility of mind and Multi-dimensional thinking of students. Swami Dayanand College of Education has built up a very good collection of 6646 books and 21 National and International journals & 06 magazines and periodicals. It also subscribes to a 06 number of daily newspapers in Hindi/English and Punjabi. The library is also enriched with the latest additions of a number of dictionaries, thesauri encyclopedias, manuals, etc.

With these objectives, our health and physical resource center has sufficient equipment, allied materials, and accessories to promote a healthy and competitive spirit that enables the students to face challenges in actual life solutions. The annual sports festival incorporates different sporting activities such as athletics, volleyball, football, badminton, cricket, Kho-Kho, Disc throw, Javelin, Short Put, etc. whereas among indoor sporting activities chess, carom & table tennis, etc. competition is organized, which not only aims at physical fitness but also contributing towards the healthy all-round personality development of students.
