All the Best!!!
So let us walk past each and every aspect one by one:
History
- Fergusson College was established way back in 1885 and Bal Gangadhar Tilak was one of the founding members of the college. It has also contributed men to the freedom struggle and has a lot of history and prestige attached to it. On the other hand, Symbiosis was established in 1970s and recently completed its 50 years of operation. So a lot less prestige and definitely a lot less history than Fergusson!
Infrastructure
- Fergusson Colleges, like many old colleges is built in an area of 65 acres. It has a lot of new and old buildings and departments. On the other hand, Symbiosis like every recent college is not so big. So guys and gals, looking out for some quality campus life, watch out! Yes, it has big canteens than Fergusson but lacks in restaurants nearby.
Sports-
Fergusson has a lot of indoor and oudoor complexes whereas Symbiosis lacks on that heavily!
Alumni-
125 years of prestige and alumni base is what Fergusson offers, whereas Symbiosis being newer has its own cons.
Decision is yours.
Hey Duggaraju
As far as KIIT is concerned the placements here is good. Almost every student gets placed however they salary may not be as much as it will be in Symbiosis in Computer Science & Information Technology and descent for E&TC and mechanical. SIT Pune holds an average package of 8 to 10 Lacs per annum.
In KIIT Various good companies like Deloite, Infosys, Amazon, etc come for the interviews. The campus provides 100 percent placement for cse course.
At the end of the day the choice is yours. Both are equally good but if you ask me- Symbiosis is better for the ones with talent and hardworking attitude whereas kiit is good even if you are not the best of the best.
Hello,
MIT Pune is better that PICT, Symbiosis, and Bharti Vidyapeeth for B.tech . There are several parameters for my above mentioned line.
Around 150 Companies visit this campus for placements. Academics is according to Industry standards and Faculty is also very experienced. There is strict discipline related to attendance and uniform. You need to maintain 75% attendance and there are two formal days where you need to wear the given Uniform. People are also very good.
In comparison to other three i would suggest MIT Pune seeing its academics, placement and crowd for B.tech Courses.

Fergusson College is a legacy. It was established in 1980s and Bal Gangadhar tilak was among the founders of the institution. On the other hand, Symbiosis is relatively newer and not so eminent. So it may have better infrastructure. Yet Fergusson college is definitely better than it in all other terms.

Hello Srinivas
The cut off for SITEEE depends on the level of their entrance exam and the maximum marks scored by any student.
To get CSE in Symbosis Institute of technology(SIT).You have to get a score of 120-125+.
But they provide limited seats of 60 for CSE
Hope this helps you
Feel free to ask if you have any more queries.
Thank you
SICSR doesn't have a huge campus like all the other symbiosis institutes. It's basically a building with 7 floors. Although I must say that it is well maintained from the inside. Labs are pretty big and have air conditioners although we used to bring our own laptops and never really used the college computers, and there is a reading room apart from the library where students can just chill or do their work when they don't have classes, personally, the reading room was my favorite place during college days. The canteen is not enough spacious but is well maintained with a good interior so just don't go there during busy hours otherwise it's a great place to eat. Most importantly they have a good working elevator facility for students otherwise it would have become hell to climb up to the 7th floor.
The college is a single building where five floors belong to SICSR. The college has free wifi facility where usage is monitored and restricted. Their are enough classrooms for batches although batch sizes are increasing every year. The canteen is designed like any other symbiosis canteen. The library and a reading room, classrooms are big. Their are two computer labs for undergraduates. The canteen food menu gives enough options on local food, sandwiches, chinese, indian thali etc. The girls hostel is in the next building with girls across different symbiosis institution and first come first serve is the principle of the hostel. The girls hostel accomodates three girls in one room with attach bathroom, enough privacy and storage space. While the boys hostel is 2km away which is shared with students of the other symbiosis institutions.
The college is reasonably well-maintained, although the monitors in the lab are not used regularly. The other facilities work correctly and are routinely maintained; immediate assistance is provided wherever required.
