The college labs are decent enough but there is no sports teacher and extra activities leaving studies is given less attention in this college. The hostels have nice rooms and good environment though the food is not so good
The life science department is very good at Oxford , teachers are always supportive to help student but you have to fulfill the attendance rant or else you may get detained. You should have to keep 75 percent each sem.
Few pharmaceutical companies visit for campus selection and meritorious student are always selcted.Companies like Cipla and Mankind visit the campus and various rounds of selection are taken. The physical science department is having a nice campus placements.
The course fees is 40k per year.Hostel fees is 92k and there are both two sharing and 3 sharing option available. For girls there are lot of restrictions in hostel boys have a bit of lineancy. The hostels are well maintained.
Campus Life
The campus life is limited to very small area and there is not much to discover. It is located at HSR layout and has a good environment outside the campus.

This is such kind of college where you learn nothing. It's just a college for timepass there's no proper security anyone can enter the campus, teachers are not good as expected there's nothing like a quality teaching and they don't listen to you.So better choose some other college rather than joining this.

What is the admission procedure to get admission in Oxford college of science?is it a good cllg according to placement for MSC biotechnology

Saba 6th May, 2019

Hello Aspirant.

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Coming to your query, colleges generally do not provide any placement assistance as such for M. Sc. courses. Thus, I would suggest you not to rely on placements and network with your peers, teachers, etc, and subscribe to websites that share openings in the science domain.

Admissions are based on marks obtained in the qualifying exam. A student must pass B. Sc. with any of the biosciences subject to be eligible for the course with 60% aggregate or equivalent.

Oxford College of Science is one of the best colleges affiliated to Bangalore University and is indeed a reputed one.

Hope it helps.
