TCE located in the northern part of Karnataka at Gadag was started in 1997 offering B.E courses. This affiliated college is located on a 10.05 acre space and provides the aspiring students options for engineering courses. TCE has greatly embraced education quality as evident by getting accreditation from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). A student intake capacity of 1152 and faculty of sixty six makes it easy for the college to give the students the right environment to nurture and grow into engineers.

The modernerty of library is “JNANA SANGOMA” and its total area is of 1000 sq. meters It contain over 34250 volumes of book related to various branches of science and engineering. VTU e-learn resources include; e-books, e-journals, and other online sources available through the VTU e-Consoritum for students. TCE also provides hostel facilities for boys and girls naming and parking to make students feel like they are at home. It has all the modern facilities like a well being centre comprising football field, basket ball court, exercise room, wireless internet connection and well endow labs to support the practical sessions.

Tontadarya College of Engineering has in total 8 courses to offer at two degree level. The institute offers only the day section for undergraduate and postgraduate programme in different engineering branches. It offers BE programmes and a single ME programme. According to the current approval, the college can take 1,152 students in all the courses offered and thus it has the potential to train a large number of engineers. Although the graduation data for the latest year was not provided for density purposes, based on the college’s capacity to offer quality education one could deduce that it has a sound career success policy.
