    TRC Mahavidyalaya in Barabanki district as an affiliated college by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).     The Diploma in Elementary Education course (D.El.Ed) has an approved intake capacity of 50 students for admission. TRC Mahavidyalaya  admission is done on a merit basis on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2) and/or an entrance examination per state government policies. An eligibility criterion requires an applicant to have completed the 10+2 level with a minimum of 50% marks.

    The Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme at TRC Mahavidyalaya is admitted based on merit.
