This is one of the best commerce college in Kolkata I think it should be awardedas the best commerce college because infrastructure is top notch teachers are top notch yes it have a small are but within that area it had made his infrastructure planned and organised. I really love my college.

It is the aim of the College to promote the course of education in the highest and widest sense to make education comprehending the training of the mind, heart and body founded on a theistic basis conducive to the good of man and the glory of God." At a logical stage in this process of growth and development these different Units of the College were converted with effect from June 11, 1961, into independent Colleges governed by separate Governing Bodies but under the ultimate control of a Central Council in matters of Policy, co-operation and co-ordination. The Surya Sen Street branch has two units - Morning and Evening imparting instructions in B. Com. (Pass & Honours) courses. These Units were known as City College Commerce Department Surya Sen Street Evening Unit and Morning Unit. THE MORNING UNIT WAS SEPARATELY AFFILIATED TO CU IN 1961 AS UMESCHANDRA COLLEGE.

Yes my college is very good it has all the necessary equipment and facilities available for the students here yes we have laboratories libraries sports room and cafetaria yes the living space is hygienic

I am studying bcom honours because I would pursue in the commerce field that's why the quality of teaching is good yes the curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments in the field yes what I study.

The college placements are good and quality is also good the percentage is high of students getting placement and the highest salary I am not aware of it I am currently not in the placement level still pursuing so I don't know

12000 per year yes I feel I am getting my moneys worth

The famous life is best students can enegage in all sports and side curriculum in the campus yes the students teachers staff are good and location is also good it's safe too yes it can handle emergency

Infrastructure is good enough, with all necessary equipments needed with proper maintenance. It has big classrooms, which are well maintained. Libraries are always accesible to the students and have most of the books required.

Overall it was average . Teachers are all good with good teaching skills, but they should provide with better facilities for better teaching facilities. The teachers always motivate the student and help them in aiming for their goals.

The placements are very less than average . The college doesnt have a lot of companies offering jobs, and only have a limited companies . So, it becomes really hard to get a good enough stipend for the students to earn.

Its quite good . A maximum of 5k to 6k is needed for a college year.

College campus is good , and is much better and enjoyable than expected.

The College has all the infrastructure and facilities and it is well maintained with hygienic food. It has sports facilities, the living space is clean and the classroom is well maintained. The College also has a safety system for students.

I was Studying BCom hons, the college has the best quality of teaching and updated curriculum , it has all the necessary development in field of finance and makes person job-ready. The teachers in the college has well knowledge and experience in their filed.

The placement is good, companies like TCS and Wipro hire from this college. Lots of Students get placed with good packages while some opted for higher education. The Students who sit for placement are trained by the college for their successful career in terms of aptitude and interview session.

The college has a very excellent infrastructure with huge classes and adequate sitting space. apart from this it has various other facilities like library, games room, practical lab and a very neat and clean canteen.

To be honest teachers of this college are very humble and student friendly. They try to go deep down the topic and teach us in the best and easiest way possible. The syllabus is according to New education Program (NEP).

From past few years our college had a very good report of placements. Almost about 70 to 100 graduates were picked up by some of the renowned companies like Aditya Birla group, ITC , L & T and many more with an average package of about 8 lakhs P.A.

I had recently took admission in sem 1 of Bcom with honours and it cost near about 6000 only which is quite affordable. It is one of the cheapest college of the state. At this amount of fees in provides it provides us many benefits like medical benefit, Counselling and many more.

The college campus is not very big. But very interesting things are done at our campus like dancing events,fests and we celebrate every festival at our college with joy and happiness. It is located in college street which is central hub of students in Kolkata.

Need to improve its washroom, common room, classroom, practical labs, teaching style. Class rooms are too small that we can't even adjust there to sit we use to stand outside the classroom just to give Attendance.

Overall it was average. It needs to improve. Teachers are all good there but facility are very poor. They should atleast provide adequate facility so that teacher will be able to teach properly and student will also take proper intrest in studies.

There is like very less and average placement. Campus placement is very poor and the monthly stipend is so less that student will not be able to manage the transportation charges and its quite difficult to survive.

Yes its quite good. As the fees is affordable for everyone but just because of less fees we will not put our carrier on stake. There should be proper education system so that student will take intrest.

Not good at all. There was a very small campus and very conjusted common room for student. Most of the time our canteen remain closed and food was also not good. Student don't get interest in any way to come to college.

Needs to improve in all grounds. A student want a good sitting area, good environment, good infrastructure, good education so that they will be able to survive in this society equally with others. Improve it.

Infrastructure is more than average...... college has all necessary equipment which we need and maintenance is also good. Our classrooms were well maintained with air conditioner, libraries were always opened and we get all kinds of books which we need to explore

I pursued B.com Honours in 2023. Teachers are also very supportive and their way of teaching is very well. They always motivate us to achieve our goals and try to score good marks in our semester examinations.

Placements is not well as I know because it has average level of placements and it doesn't mean to be looking forward for a good carrier opportunity . Campus has not much placements options from different companies, it only had limited group of job offers.

An maximum amount between 4K to 5K we spent in a year for the academic courses

College campus is good. But it should be better than we expect and location is best.

Umeschandra College have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment,and also have big classrooms, laboratories,libraries,sport centres etc.overall experience in umeschandra College was very good.

I Was studying B.com honours in umeschandra colllege.There was good qualities of teaching in umeschandra College,for B.com honours or General.Yes curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.Yes study makes us job ready.

Quality of placement is not so good in our college.20% students were placed .Actually I don't know about the highest salary package offered .The average salary offered in our college campus placement was 2.5 Lacs p.a.

This College has an average infrastructure with all the basic facilities present within the campus. Though the premises isn't that huge but definitely it jas most of features which addresses the students' requirements.

Academics of this college is also decent with good professors in the faculty and with few visiting faculty as well. The course curriculum is average while covering the basic part. So, definately upgradation is needed.

Placements in this college isn't that good. Even a few companies visit the campus but the recruitment process is really irregular & needs to catch up with respect to other colleges. So, overall the college has to pull up their socks in this category.

The college provides the leverage with very less fees every but with negligible placement, the value for money component isn't that promising.

The campus life was decent as most of the students are engaging & very helpful.

There is no hostels and sport centres, wifi, smart board in this college. Living spaces, corridors are clean. Food is not upto mark but budget friendly. There is indoor sports facilities like carrom chess table tennis etc.

Quality of teaching is good. Professors are very experienced. They taught very well to all the students. They help student in their career building. There is also computer facilities in college. It is the one of the best college for who is pursuing B. Com

Many companies come for campus placement. This college is offered only B. Com and B. Com (Hons). So the company hire students from this college for accountant profile. College is supportive throughout the process of selection.
