the academics in the college is great as it follows the cu guidelines very well, the faculty of the college is super supportive and helpful. They provide excellent education along with encouraging us to participate in extra curricular activities

the college provides facilities such as a well equipped computer room, where students can learn about tally, balance sheet, company accounts, etc etc. Classrooms are well maintained, and canteen facilities are also available although the food in the canteen is not so good but its not bad either. Sports facilities like cricket and tennis are also offered, but wifi facility is not available

placements in this college is low because most of the students are preparing for professional courses here. But a few students get places in job roles like financial consultants, book keepers, accountants in small firms

Theres no scope of academics and the college follows Calcutta University's guidelines, the students don't visit the college because its a dummy college, and the academics are what is been decided by the CU

Honesty the infrastructure of this college is below average, there's a small campus and non ac classrooms with okaish ventilation and the classrooms are normal with normal benches and not so much leg space overall the infrastructure is below average

There's no such thing as campus Life inn umeschandra, because students don't even visit the college they only visit during exams, so the campus life is okaish, but you can make a few friends and hang out with them

There's no scope of placements in this college don't even expect you'll get placed through this college, its basically just a dummy college where students go only for exams and to get a ug degree most of the crowd here is ca aspirants, cs aspirants, cma aspirants etc

Umeschandra is a great value for money college i mean the semester fees is so less and you don't even have to visit the college just visit during exams and attendance is not mandatory as well, best for ca aspirants and people with family business backgrounds

It is the aim of the College to promote the course of education in the highest and widest sense to make education comprehending the training of the mind, heart and body founded on a theistic basis conducive to the good of man and the glory of God." At a logical stage in this process of growth and development these different Units of the College were converted with effect from June 11, 1961, into independent Colleges governed by separate Governing Bodies but under the ultimate control of a Central Council in matters of Policy, co-operation and co-ordination. The Surya Sen Street branch has two units - Morning and Evening imparting instructions in B. Com. (Pass & Honours) courses. These Units were known as City College Commerce Department Surya Sen Street Evening Unit and Morning Unit. THE MORNING UNIT WAS SEPARATELY AFFILIATED TO CU IN 1961 AS UMESCHANDRA COLLEGE.
