36 MonthsPh.D. program in Management shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by Karnavati University, Gandhinagar.

Eligibility Criteria
- A master’s degree following a 4-year bachelor’s (1 year/2 semesters) or after a 3-year bachelor’s (2 years/4 semesters), or equivalent qualifications recognized by the relevant statutory body, with at least 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grading. Foreign qualifications must be from institutions accredited by recognized authorities.
- A 5% mark relaxation applies to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer) / Differently-Abled/Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates, as per Commission guidelines.
- Applicants with a 4-year bachelor’s degree must have a minimum of 75% aggregate marks, with the same relaxation for reserved categories.
- M.Phil. graduates with at least 55% marks or equivalent grading, including those from accredited foreign institutions, are eligible. The same 5% relaxation applies to reserved categories.
Admission Details
Research scholars interested in applying for the Doctoral Programme (Ph.D.) at Karnavati University should adhere to the following process:
- Candidates must fill out the prescribed admission form and submit it by the deadline specified in the admission announcement.
- A common Entrance Test will be held for all eligible candidates seeking Ph.D. admission at Karnavati University, whether applying for full-time or part-time study.
- Candidates are required to participate in Personal Interviews (PI)/Viva Voce, which will be conducted online. The specific dates for these interviews will be announced later.
- Admissions will be in accordance with the University Grants Commission (UGC) (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations.
