      It is the affiliated college of Panjab University, Chandigarh. Among many undergraduate programs offered in arts, commerce, and science, special emphasis is on agriculture programs.  Admission bases: The admission procedure for students is kept open at Universal College of Arts, Commerce and Science.  Eligibility criteria for admission are program specific.       Degree wise Admission Process

      B.A.: Memorial to Human Heritage, BA B.A. includes a balanced education in diverse topics of human experience. Admission to B.A. is based on 10+2 examination results. The college does not prescribe any particular stream requirement, allowing a range of candidates from different backgrounds to apply.

      B.Com: With regard to the Bachelor of Commerce program, the student performance in the 10+2 examination was taken into consideration. Specific subject requirements are not mentioned, although courses relating to commerce or its allied fields in higher secondary education give the students an edge.

      B.Sc (Agriculture): The B.Sc (Agriculture) program, offered by the college, attracts those whose focus is generally going to be agricultural sciences. Students were required to study science, really biology, during their 10+2 studies if they are to be admitted to this field of study. The approved intake for this particular course is unspecified, although this is one of the specialized fields of study offered in the college.

      B.Sc (Non-Medical): It finds entry into the bachelor of science program for students who have strong knowledge in concepts within physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Admissions will be based on performance in the subjects in the 10+2 examination. Approved intake for the course is 50 seats.

      B.Sc (Horticulture): Other specialized programs offered by the college focus on the science of plant cultivation. Qualifying admission requirements are a reflection of performance in specific science subjects, mainly biology, in the 10+2 examinations.

      Diploma in Agriculture: This program provides a shorter-duration, more concentrated study in agriculture. Admission is less competitive than degree programs and there are 50 approved seats for the course. Good for those wanting practical, job-oriented education in agriculture.
