University College, Dhilwan is a composite college in Barnala district of Punjab, which provides a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different disciplines.

Mark sheets of qualifying examination (10+2 for UG courses, for PG courses - Bachelor's degree)
Character certificate from institute last attended
Category certificate (if applicable)
Any other relevant certificates as specified by the college.
Submission of Application: The filled application form has to be submitted at the college admission office within the specified deadline along with other required documents.
Merit List: Admission is based on merit lists prepared and published by the college from the qualifying examination performance.
Counseling: Selected individuals may be invited for counseling on choice of preferred course within merit and seat availability.
Fee Payment: Payment of the prescribed admission fee must be within the given time to the selected candidate for a seat.

Degree-wise Admission Process
BA: The Bachelor of Arts at University College, Dhilwan allows admitting up to 240 students. Qualifying exam merit is the basis on which admission would be given to students in this program after completion of the 10+2. Different luminous subjects like history and geography fall under humanities.
B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce allows a maximum of 60 students into the program. Admission is given to those who qualify depending on their performance in the final class. The course gives a strong base in commerce and business studies.
B.Sc Medical: The college has designated B.Sc Medical with a maximum of 40 seats. Admission will be provided based on the merit in the qualifying examination, generally 10+2 with subjects in Science.
B.Sc Non-Medical: Like B.Sc Medical, this course also recommends an intake of 40 students, following a merit admission system based on performance in the qualifying class.
BCA: The Bachelor of Computer Applications program has a maximum intake of 40 students approved by authorities. Admission is on merit in the qualifying examination generally taken as 10+2 with Mathematics or Computer Science.
PGDCA: The Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications will allow 40 students to admit, according to the qualifying degree program.
MA History: 35 students are expected to be taken into this postgraduate course, where merit of qualifying bachelor's degree is the admission criterion, preferably of the History or related subject.
