B.Sc Economics Hons at University of Southampton Delhi Offline Course

Students must meet the overall academic and mathematics scores for Grade 12 to be eligible for the programme. Those who have studied academic disciplines in the Humanities or Commerce or Sciences including subjects such as Political Science or Business Studies can apply for the Programme. Mathematics in Class XII is a required subject. Students need not have studied economics before.

In order to be eligible for the programme, students must have:

• Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE): Minimum 78% (overall) in your All-India Senior School Certificate Examination (Standard XII) with 80% in Mathematics in Standard XII.
• Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE): Minimum 78% (overall) in your Indian School Certificate examination (Standard XII) with 80% in Mathematics in Standard XII.
• State Board: Minimum 83% (overall) in your Higher Secondary Certificate (Standard XII) examination with 80% in Mathematics in Standard XII.
• International Baccalaureate: 34 points and above, including 17 points at Higher level including 5 at Higher Level Mathematics (Analysis and Approaches, or Applications and Interpretation).
  • Offers will be made on the individual Diploma Course subject(s) and the career-related study qualification. The CP core will not form part of the offer. Where there is a subject pre-requisite(s), applicants will be required to study the subject(s) at Higher Level in the Diploma course subject and/or take a specified unit in the career-related study qualification. Applicants may also be asked to achieve a specific grade in those elements. English language requirement

We accept several ways of meeting our English Language requirement. These include:

• IELTS Test, with scores of 6.5 overall (6.0 in reading, writing, speaking, and listening)
• an approved academic qualification having the required grade
