University Polytechnic, AMU was established in 1937 as a constituent college of AMU; it is one of the leading institutions in the country. This co-educational institution of technical learning is located in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, and currently is in operation for more than eight decades. The offered programmes of the polytechnic are recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), which guarantees the quality of a given course and its relevance to the labour market.
