University Polytechnic also serves as a foundational college of AMU and has much prestige in technical education. Diploma in Computer Engineering: The institute offers 30 seats for this program. Eligibility criteria include passing the SSC examination with a relevant score.

Diploma in Architecture Assistantship: This course has an intake of 25 seats. Applicants need to have cleared their SSC examination with a relevant score.

Diploma in Interior Design: With 20 seats available, this program also requires candidates to have passed the SSC examination with a relevant score.

Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation and Control, and Leather Goods and Footwear Technology: Each of these programs offers 30 seats. The eligibility criterion for all is passing the SSC examination with a relevant score.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: This program has a large intake of 120 seats. Candidates must have completed their SSC examination with a relevant score to be eligible.

Post Diploma in Food Technology - This advanced diploma program offers 25 seats.
