Vande Maatram College was set up in 2005 and is an affiliated college situated in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. Located at Motijheel AB Road, behind the Hotel Aditya Palace, the college is providing many programmes in Education and Health Care sectors. Well established College named Vande Maatram College, is Situated at Bhubaneswar Orissa which is approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The institute is currently offering seven courses under four degree programmes, training teachers and nurses. 

Vande Maatram College has several amenities that can be useful to improve the student’s learning process. The core of these facilities is a developed library with an open access system for faculty members and research scholars. The library has accumulated a number of resource materials, which include Compact Discs, Audio-Visual Aids, training movies, and e-books, which are replenished from time to time. In order to facilitate practice based learning the college has laboratories in the following fields. For use in the experiments, the Psychology Laboratory has equipment and equipment for educational psychological tests, personality skill tests, and aptitude tests. In physics and chemistry classes, one get to see equipment, models, charts and specimens in the various life science and physical science laboratories. Language laboratories and social studies labs tools are also made as per NCTE norms which help in reinforcing the teaching.

Vande Maatram College currently provides 7 full-time courses in various specialisation areas. The institute offers educational courses which are B.Ed, D.El.Ed, BA B.Ed Integrated and healthcare courses like ANM, GNM, B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing. The college has an approved   of combined 415 students for all courses that presented during the research work, this goes to show that the college has the capability to admit many students. However, data on the total graduates produced in the most recent year is still wanting.

The admission process of Vande Maatram College is largely based on Merit: marks secured in the qualifying examination and /or entrance examination. For the programmes like B.Ed, D.El.Ed and BA. B.
