The Velumanoharan Arts and Science College for Women, or VMASCW, was founded in 2019, which is quite a young college situated in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, and dedicated to higher education of women. Located on a vast area of land of 6 acres, this affiliated college for women provides undergraduate courses for female students only. VMASCW has 224 students enrolled and offers four programmes in 3 degree areas and concentrations. Young College is focused on the education of women in arts and sciences in order to provide them with vocational education that will facilitate successful functioning in the contemporary world.

Velumanoharan Arts and Science College has several facilities that are deemed vital in improving the learning process and development of the learners. The campus has a well-equipped laboratory for practicals to be conducted to support practical-orientated courses such as microbiology and computer science education.
