The Viva Institute of Management and Research (VIMR)-Virar  and is AICTE-approved and affiliated. Located in Palghar, Maharashtra, VIMR offers admission to a competitive program in a full-time postgraduate degree called the Master of Management Studies (MMS) program. The admission procedure here calls for merit-based admission at VIMR, which usually publishes applications in the few months leading up to the academic year, which usually begins around August-September. Everyone who wants to apply at the institute must pass at least one of several accepted entrance examinations. Degree wise Admission Process

MMS (Master of Management Studies) : VIMR aims to impart holistic management education through a full-time two-year MMS program. The process of getting admission to the MMS program includes the following steps:

1. The candidate should appear for any of the approved entrance exams: MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, CAT, AIMS.
2. Candidates should gain entry based on entrance exam scores and further rounds of the admission process.
3. The final selection will usually consider scores on entrance tests, academic performance in previous qualifications, and, possibly, other rounds such as group discussions or personal interviews.

With an approved intake of 90 students in the MMS Program at VIMR, it becomes competitive for aspiring management professionals.
