Viva Institute of Management and Research, Virar Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

The Viva Institute of Management and Research (VIMR)-Virar  and is AICTE-approved and affiliated. Located in Palghar, Maharashtra, VIMR offers admission to a competitive program in a full-time postgraduate degree called the Master of Management Studies (MMS) program. The admission procedure here calls for merit-based admission at VIMR, which usually publishes applications in the few months leading up to the academic year, which usually begins around August-September. Everyone who wants to apply at the institute must pass at least one of several accepted entrance examinations. They include, amongst the many national and state-level entrance examinations accepted by the institution for MBA candidates, MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, CAT as held by the IIMs, and AIMS.

Application Process

The application process is organized for applying for the MMS program at Viva Institute of Management and Research, Virar:

1. Entrance Exam: All interested candidates must have to appear for any one of the accepted entrance examinations (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, CAT, or AIMS). Each exam has its own application input process and schedule.

2. Application Submission: After the entrance exam results are obtained, candidates need to apply to the VIMR. This collecting application may involve filling up an application form found on the institute's official website.

3. Document Submission: Each document will cover entrance exam score, degree certificates and mark sheets from previous qualifications (10th, 12th, Bachelor's degree), passport size photographs, an identity proof, and other certificates mentioned by the institute.

4. Merit List: The institute will prepare a list of qualified students based on the results of the entrance test. 

5. Counselling /Interview: The shortlisted candidates could be called for counselling or personal interview.

6. Admission Confirmation: Candidates are admitted after completion of all stages and should confirm their admissions by paying the requisite fee along with original documents.

7. Orientation: Students are usually required to attend an orientation program prior to the start of classes.

Degree wise Admission Process

MMS (Master of Management Studies) : VIMR aims to impart holistic management education through a full-time two-year MMS program. The process of getting admission to the MMS program includes the following steps:

1. The candidate should appear for any of the approved entrance exams: MAH-MBA/MMS-CET, CMAT, ATMA, MAT, CAT, AIMS.
2. Candidates should gain entry based on entrance exam scores and further rounds of the admission process.
3. The final selection will usually consider scores on entrance tests, academic performance in previous qualifications, and, possibly, other rounds such as group discussions or personal interviews.

With an approved intake of 90 students in the MMS Program at VIMR, it becomes competitive for aspiring management professionals.
