Women's College, Agartala Admission Process

Women's College, popularly known as Kasturba Gandhi Women's College, Agartala, is the foremost higher education institution for women in Tripura, India, and offers several undergraduate courses for women only; it conducts a well-defined admission procedure based on the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate Programs. The admission cycle usually begins in May and ends in June for that academic year, which begins in August and September. Women's College, Agartala accepts applications via the CUET UG; the exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for entrance into different central universities and their associated colleges throughout the country.

The CUET UG can be held in May 2025, between the 15th and the 24th, with the view of conducting examinations for the next academic session. The authorised examination in this exam is fully computerised and would cover a variety of sections. It aims to check the aptitude and subject knowledge of an applicant for being admitted to undergraduate courses. The normal eligibility criteria for admission into Women's College, Agartala, are qualifying the 10+2 level of education from the recognised board in concerned subjects for admission. Women's College BA Admission Process

Different BA programmes include Bengali, English, Political Science, Sanskrit, Hindi, History, Education, Philosophy, Geography, Economics and Sociology. Women's College admission to these various BA programmes is based on CUET UG outcomes. Numbers for total intake per major subject range between 20 (for BA Hindi Major and BA Sociology Major) and 110 seats (for BA Political Science Major and BA Education Major).

Women's College B.Sc Admission Process

The B.Sc. offerings typically comprise Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology. Other subjects are human physiology and environmental science. Women's College admission to these, too, will be based on results from CUET UG. For example, the range of intake varies between 22 admissions for B.Sc Physics Major and B.Sc Chemistry Major and 50 for B.Sc Mathematics Major.
