The entry procedure for this four-year degree course is done through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. Eligibility for admission will depend on qualifying in the CET. For 50% of the sanctioned intake under management quota seats, the following are considered in order of preference:
Yamuna Institute of Nursing offers an ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery) programme. The ANM course has 40 seats and has a simple admission procedure. The candidates are admitted based on a merit list drawn up based on the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination. The candidates with higher marks are given preference so that the academically brightest students are admitted to the course.
Yamuna Institute of Nursing offers a GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) programme. With 30 seats approved for intake, the GNM course also follows a merit system of admission. As in the case of the ANM course, admissions are given based on a merit list prepared from the percentage of marks obtained at the qualifying exam. The preference goes to the candidates with higher marks in the admission.
