Yamuna Institute of Nursing, Yamuna Nagar, is one of the most prominent institutes in Haryana for nursing courses. Yamuna Institute of Nursing has a whole and intensive process of admission in place for the sake of selecting hardworking and capable students for its various courses in nursing.
Yamuna Institute of Nursing admission process is undertaken annually for its three major courses: B.Sc Nursing, ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery), and GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery). Yamuna Institute of Nursing admission process for each programme has a specific process, which is formed as per the requirements of the concerned course and the regulatory body.
Applicants who wish to take admission in ANM and GNM courses are shortlisted according to their performance in the entrance test. Yamuna Institute of Nursing admission process is based on a merit list as per the percentage of marks scored by the applicants, with those who have higher scores being preferred during admission.

Admission to Yamuna Institute of Nursing is done annually for B.Sc Nursing, ANM, and GNM programmes based on entrance test or merit. Selection is followed by counselling and document verification before final admission.
Yamuna Institute of Nursing offers a B.Sc Nursing programme. The B.Sc Nursing course of Yamuna Institute of Nursing has an approved strength of 40 seats. The entry procedure for this four-year degree course is done through the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak. Eligibility for admission will depend on qualifying in the CET. For 50% of the sanctioned intake under management quota seats, the following are considered in order of preference:
Yamuna Institute of Nursing offers an ANM (Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery) programme. The ANM course has 40 seats and has a simple admission procedure. The candidates are admitted based on a merit list drawn up based on the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination. The candidates with higher marks are given preference so that the academically brightest students are admitted to the course.
Yamuna Institute of Nursing offers a GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) programme. With 30 seats approved for intake, the GNM course also follows a merit system of admission. As in the case of the ANM course, admissions are given based on a merit list prepared from the percentage of marks obtained at the qualifying exam. The preference goes to the candidates with higher marks in the admission.
