72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme in Periodontology shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, offered by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
Eligibility Criteria
The Candidate must have passed A postgraduate degree (MDS) in the respective dental subject from any approved Indian University/its constituent and affiliated college recognized by the Dental Council of India.
Admission Details
The admission of candidates for the Ph.D. Degree shall be based on the merit of the Ph.D. ENTRANCE TEST (PET) conducted by MUHS University.
The Entrance test shall be a qualifying test with 50% qualifying marks for Open category candidates and 45% qualifying marks for Reserved Category candidates in both papers of the Entrance test.
