Yuvaraja's College, Mysore Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Provides Seven hostels for undergraduate students, and they are Village Hostel, Gowthama Hostel, Dr. Ambedkar Hostel, Postgraduate Men’s Hostel, and 9th Main Hostel. These hostels cater to the needs of Yuvaraja's College students also.

The college provides a girls' hostel facility for students who need accommodation near the campus. The college Provides Seven hostels for undergraduate students, and they are Village Hostel, Gowthama Hostel, Dr. Ambedkar Hostel, Postgraduate Ladies Hostel, YCM Ladies Hostel, and 9th Main Hostel. These hostels cater to the needs of Yuvaraja's College students.

Basic healthcare support is available through the college healthcare center. The college includes first-aid facilities to address minor healthcare concerns and provide immediate assistance when required. The College health center on the campus is well-equipped and provides necessary medical aid to the employees and students of the college.

The gym facility supports students for their physical fitness and well-being. Regular access to gym facilities can help students develop healthy exercise habits, improve stamina, and maintain an active routine alongside their academic commitments. 

It provides the oldest library, established in 1918 and is presently catering to more than 3000 students and more than 100 staff members of the constituent colleges of the University of Mysore Yuvaraja’s College. It has its own independent heritage building with about 2 lakhs of books and other information resources along with old publications and rare collections with the latest technological developments.

The college has sports facilities for all students. Spacious sports grounds, a Gymnasium, and a Swimming Pool are maintained by the Department of Physical Education, the University of Mysore for the benefit of our students. A Category I multipurpose indoor hall with facilities for badminton, table tennis, chess, and other sports activities is available. Adjacent to this, a multi-gym facility is available to the students of the college.

Yuvaraja's College Mysore IT Infrastructure facilitates computer-based learning and access to digital resources. Students can develop essential digital skills through technology-enabled academic work. 

The campus cafeteria caters to the refreshment needs of students and staff. It gives students a convenient place to take breaks between classes and spent time with their peers. The college cafeteria is located on campus. It offers a variety of food items at subsidized rates.

The college uses Yuvaraja's College Mysore auditorium facility for seminars, events and other student activities. Participation in such programmes allows students to gain exposure beyond classroom learning.

The College has State Bank of Mysore branches on the University Campus with an ATM facility. Yuvaraja's College Mysore ATM service is open 24 hours for students as well as staffs for their financial emergency.

A cooperative society housed in the college building is exclusively run by the majority of students of Yuvaraja's College. The society provides the students with practical records, notebooks, and stationery material on a no-loss, no-profit basis.

The college has campus-wide Wi-Fi connectivity with 1.0 GBPS speed. Yuvaraja's College Mysore wifi facilities offer 24-hour Wi-Fi connectivity, and the university is very well equipped with all the modern appliances.

The Placement Cell of Yuvarajas College is committed to training students to develop a good personality and also assists them in choosing the right course for further studies. Further, it endeavors to place them in the right companies before they pass out of college.
