B.Tech Computer Science Engineering at APGSU Shimla Offline Course

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering is a four-year (8 semesters) full-time undergraduate program offered by the School of Engineering & Technology at the Alakh Prakash Goyal Shimla University, Shimla.

B. Tech Computer Science Engineering is a comprehensive program in computer applications and systems. It deals with designing and developing computer software and hardware processes. Through this course, the students will be able to understand, learn and use different programming languages, digital and analogue electronics, networking and telecommunications etc. The course deals with practical as well as theoretical knowledge of computer hardware and software. The course comprises of various engineering disciplines such as computer engineering, mechanical engineering, communications, electronics, Software engineering etc. along with the knowledge of computer systems. The curriculum of Computer Science Engineering includes knowledge of the operating system, programming language, database, Networking, Software Testing, Software Development, Frontend, Software Development backend, Network Design, Network Management, Database Administrator, Data Analytics, Software Testing and Maintenance, and System Software Development etc. After the successful completion of the programme, a student will be able to function on multi-disciplinary teams, formulate, and solve engineering problems and designing & comparing solutions, algorithms, and protocols. The programme lays emphasis on Digital Transformation Technologies that focus on building the mathematical and algorithmic concepts of the students. This programme is perfectly suited for students who are innovative and like to take up challenges and enjoy problem-solving using computational techniques.
