To check your name under special category in Aligarh Muslim University, you need to check on your own as per AMU guidelines. There is no reservation for Muslims in this University.
There is certainly reservation for OBC/SC/ST though.
For admission in AMU, you need to either give Departmental Admission

Aligarh Muslim University has a very large and green campus with well-established infrastructure. It includes spacious classrooms, central and departmental libraries, laboratories, hostels, sports complexes, and medical facilities. Though some buildings are old, they are functional and regularly maintained, providing a good academic environment.
