A Candidate must be pass in Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Commerce) or an equivalent examination with not less than 55% marks in aggregate of English and Accounts and two subjects from amongst Economics, Business Studies, Business Organization, Commerce, Banking, Entrepreneurship, Mathematics and/or Statistics.

College Infrastructure
Aligarh Main Campus is very big and huge and very prosperous. It has all required facilities that a branded university has. The library, laboratories are all world class. The infrastructure supports education in all aspects

"AMU is home to the Maulana Azad Library, one of the largest in Asia. The air-conditioned reading halls are exceptional, providing a quiet and professional environment for long study sessions. The library’s vast collection of rare manuscripts and modern e-resources is a major asset for any research student." "The campus offers an impressive mix of heritage buildings and modern amenities. Most departments are now equipped with smart classrooms, projectors, and high-speed Wi-Fi. The lush greenery and well-maintained grounds create a very peaceful atmosphere conducive to learning."

The library is very large and there is a vast collection of commerce, law, and business-related study material. Wi-Fi is present in some areas of the campus, and classrooms are large, though not all have digital amenities. Hostel facility exists, but they have strict policies—outsiders are prohibited, and even family members can only meet with permission.
