Since, I'm studying in AMU from last 2 years so I can say that the infrastructure is very good and all the faculties are provide from the administration which an average student may need. Classrooms have whiteboard plus blackboard. It contain speaker and mic also so that no student may face inconvenience. The hostels and living places are hygienic. The mess provide good food ie hot and tasty. Washroom are too very clean and hygienic. Hostel itself have reading rooms.
AMU is one the best central university in India. Due to its hype students are coming here to study. I'm here as I'm studying here since 2 years and I like faculty of AMU alot. Teachers are very much experienced, that why the quality of teaching is very good.
I'm not well aware about the placements but I heard from my senior that the placement is quite good. I'm im my first year so I don't k ow about salary and everything but yes..In the placements college is supportive and its not so easy as there is much competition nowadays.
Infrastructure is all good and fine. Classrooms are well equipped. Proper playground for several sports are there. Wifi is available for college students. Living spaces are quite satisfactory clean and food is hygienic.
Currently pursuing bcom hons. The quality of teaching is average neither too good nor too bad. The curriculum needs to be a little more updated for example they should include computerized commerce subjects in our course now and not just the non computerized one.
Haven't heard of placements yet. Have no knowledge regarding this but to whatever I've heard from my seniors the placement is not that good. The college is overall supportive and fine but they need to cover more placement fields.
Highly affordable and convenient. My course costs approx 9000 per year as a tuition fee. The hostel fee and rent is not included in this but that is not too expensive. It will range between 10-15000 at max.
College campus is fun to be in and has properly ventilated classrooms and is full of greenery and fresh air. Has maximum plants and trees and open area. The location is all good and fine. And it can handle emergencies if needed.
All the necessary infrastructure and facilities are present there. All classroom, lab , sports centre are well maintained. There is also a huge library. Apart from this there is also a common canteen for students. Food hygienity in hostel mess is also satisfactory
I am studying political science and the quality of teaching is appreciable. Teacher are always ready to clear our doubts. They use to conduct extra class on our request.Apart from this provide us study material and notes for self study. There is also a club for political science students which make sure we are always updated.Regular discussion and debates make us job ready.
College is supportive for the placement. But there are not high chance of placement after graduation. The package after graduation is not very high. There we get several opportunities for Internship but the job placement through college is below average.
In comparison to other central university Aligarh Muslim University does not have high cost of education. The quality of education is too high in very less amount of money. The cost is acceptable and bearable for everyone.
Our campus is too large. There are two schools and a college for student, a big canteen, stationery shop, sports ground and a separate sports room, college library, dispensary, several hostels, gym, rooms.Students there engaged in different things some students are busy in their course study while others show more interest in sport field. The staffs, teachers and wardens are always helpful and supportive. The location is safe. There is more than two ambulance available there for emergency.
Aligarh Muslim University is one of best and reputated college of India. It costs very less but provide the best quality of education.
The college college infrastructure is quite good. There is a blend of traditional and modern factors. The faculties have retained their foundations with some modifications and new works. The classrooms are spacious and libraries are present in every department with a central Maulana Azad Library. There is 24×7 wifi facility in hostels as well as in campus. Cleanliness is the main priority of the University.
The University's academic syllabus is excellent. It includes all the major developments, issues and their possible solutions. The law Faculty has been ranked 8th among 'top 40 law colleges in India ' in 2020. The staff is experienced and well versed in their respective fields.
The placements are quite good for B.tech graduates. Companies like Wipro and others ever year recruits numerous students. Some students also made their ways in foreign based companies and settled there. As for law graduates, the placement opportunities are less. Most law students either start their career as lawyers or go for Judiciary exams.
Thu University is quite affordable. The fees of 5 year BA LLB course is approx 60,000 which is a good deal. As per the fees we are paying, the academic syllabus and teaching is excellent. All other courses provided by university are feasible too.
The campus life is amazing. The students are given various opportunities to showcase their talents and skills. The University organizes various debate competitions, sports competitions, moot court competitions, seminars, workshops and so on.
The infrastructure of Aligarh Muslim University is very good and you can see the atmosphere of University is very good thousands of trees are in a campus and University have 23 hall and every hall have 4 to 5 hostels and canteen are available in every hall
In Aligarh Muslim University teacher are well qualified and they always show sympathy toward students they are very helpful and if you have a any problem about subject and want to study something than teachers gave their personal to contact any time
I am graduated in psychology and many of maby friend got placemen after graduation but after completing post graduation you will have a good chance for placement , aligarh muslim University is in a small state of up
In term of course my admission fees is only 9000 and there no hostel fees you have to pay only dining fees 1200 per month
I have no words to explain the beauty and the culture of AMU campus , Amu is famous for their campus
Excellent
The best infrastructure you could get in any college , the university has an excellent blend of historic as well as modern buildings . Some of its buildings date back to 100 years , and are of historical significance . The area of the campus is so big , that it will take you days before you know about each and every corner of the university
The professors and teachers are all NET /JRF QUALIFIED, the non teaching staff are also more knowledgeable than the teachers of some other colleges . The curriculum of the courses are updated each year according to industry reforms .
Earlier there wasn't so much focus on campus placements, but now more companies are coming and students are getting placed , The students of b.tech , MBA and MCA get placed easily with a placement rate of around 90% , average salary ranges from 7lpa to 10lpa
You study here at almost free of cost
Some buildings are extremely old and not good at all while some buildings have a nice aesthetic with a lot of greenery around buy inside some of the classrooms can be off putting and doesn't really have a good vibe.
Mostly depends on the teacher, whether the teacher is teaching good or bad. The one drawback is that the way of teaching is very outdated and doesn't give way to creativity. Most of the work is done by the students themselves if they wanna have more knowledge on any subject.
Good placements aren't offered for all courses and subject but only a few of the courses have good placements. I personally got no guidance regarding how to professionally carry on in my field of study.
Being a government institution, it's highly ranked and has a very low tuition fee structure that can be afforded by almost everyone one. So in that sense it's a good institution and offers a great deal.
Didn't really have any fun or good times during my time there. People can be a little narrow minded. The campus in itself is a little strict towards some of the things that makes it difficult to even have normal kinda fun.
It's not a bad place to study but if you want to have a large experience and explore, it's not the place for you to be at. But if you have guts then studying here can't be that bad. Best things is that it's cheap and affordable.
It has been overall a good experience. We havw good ac classrooms. The washrooms are clean, the building is well maintained. We have wifi, we have smart boards, moot court hall, auditorium, place is clean, food is not provided there is a canteen which only provides tea and maggie . Hostels are well managed, staff is welcoming and the premises is clean and the food is hygienic. All the necessary equipment is available. Hence, the college area is good infrastructure wise.
I am studying law. The teaching quality is good, teachers are supportive. But one had to depend more on self studies. Yes, the curriculum is updated and it includes all the recent developments. Even our library is quite rich. Yes, the experiences we gain such as the compulsory internship in the final year and moot court competitions and several other academic competition surely hels to hone our skills and makes us job ready.
There are very few placement drives. All the companies prefer nlu’s and hence we are not offered a good chance. I being in my second year, dont know much about how placements work in our faculty. Haven’t heard good reviews from seniors.
It is very cheap. It’s around 6k per month. And yes the money’s worth. And we get more than enough facilities in this money. From ac classrooms to highly qualified faculty. From a decent library to a very nice infrastructure.
It is really nice and peaceful. Students and teachers are both in good touch. Yes, the location is safe. It’s a bit far from the main campus, but ot is quite rich area wise. The property is really big. Yes, it can handle emergencies. Students can do horse riding, sit around and study.
It has been a really good experience so far. I hope that i get to experience more in the coming years. You feel at home once you step in. Seniors are very helpful the environment is warm. There is no ragging at all.
Rating Our college provides us all the necessary facilities from well maintained classrooms to smart rooms, well maintained library, to a 24/7 canteen for students, gymnasium for health conscious students, hostels, sports equipments, playground, garden and Wifi facilities and all of these are well maintained. Our campus is entirely eco-friendly and well maintained as routined trimming of plants and grasses is done & a ground named as Gulmohar Ground in the center of the campus
I am a student of B.a (hons) English Literature and I had pursued this course as I had great command over the english subject since my childhood along with interest. The quality of teaching in my college is A1 grade the teachers are very supportive, knowledgeable and are always there to help in overcoming the weakness of each and every student. My curriculum very well updated and includes all the necessary developments of the recent time in the field.
The quality of placements are quite up to the mark at my college as being one of the top reputed university students are coming from foreign countries too and studying here and even job opportunities for passouts from here are very high in foreign countries as our university is very well known all over the world. Although I dont have the exact idea about the percentage of placements but roughly speaking then its about 70-80%.
My course costs around 5000 per year, and im Elited to mention that It was worth of the money as it very well entotals all the facilities provided to the students in the campus from the well-maintained digitalized lecture theaters too supportive and experienced teachers along with wifi facilities up to date libraries, gymnasium, sports equipments,24/7 canteen and a big well maintained ground with proper shed and cemented benches for relaxation of students after tiring schedules of classes.
My college according to me would be rated 4.5 stars out of 5 as the it has all the facilities like a well updated big air conditioned 3 tiered library,an air conditioned gymnasium,24/7 canteen, an eco-friendly campus with a well maintained ground with benches, wifi facilities, supportive teachers, helpful staff and digitalized airconditioned lecture theaters except the compact, poorly lit, classrooms in the old building of the college with high rise ceiling fans. It has around 10 exits for emerge
Yes, Aligarh Muslim University has many facilities for students. All departments have different goodies for students. It has largest library in India which contains all facilities of books, journals, articles. In the library many rooms are available for students with AC . When we talk about food quality, it is awesome. AMU has several canteens in different places so that students can get some benefit from there.
Just let me tell you, Aligarh Muslim University has great reputation for their academics. All departments faculty members, nom teaching staff and teaching staff, they all are veru helpful. Students may got good opportunities after studying in AMU because professors are very fantastic, they always prepare studnets for competitions and other things.
85-90% students get placements every year with good salary packages. All engineers and researchers got good placement from Aligarh Muslim University. First we have to give interview for placements and because of good skills and good guidance mostlu students get their placements.
All courses have different fee structure. For example, my department which is of computer science course fees is around 12000 but in further years it will gp down just of half of previous. Fees can be affordable for students but if some students can not afford there are many scholarships from university and department as well as are available, students can apply for these scholarships and get some financial support.
Campus life is awesome in Aligarh Muslim University. Seniors are very supportive and they conduct many activities in the campus. It will prove very fruitful for students. Location is very safe for students. Faculty members are alsp veru supportive and good in nature and knowledge also. Teachers are alsways appreciate the efforts of a student which is the best part of this university.
All departments conduct many internships workshops and other things fpr studnets from which studnets get morebenefit for their future and can increase their skills by doing all these activities.
