Dear Aspirant ,
From 2020, there would be no AIIMS and JIPMER entrance exams. The admissions to these Institutes will be done through NEET.
How the counselling will be conducted is still unknown but NEET will be the entrance examination for admission to all 15 of AIIMS branches and 2 of JIPMER branches.

Hi Prateek, the MGM indore is great College with lush green infrastructure and highly dedicated faculties. The additional perk they provide is Internship of 1 year in campus hospital after 4. 5 year of mbbs course which is compulsary. They also provide salary during this period. Total program fees is 55000/year which includes tution fees, maintanance fees, cycle stand fees.
Aims Gorakhpur has excellent campus and provides hostel facilities with free WiFi. The placement opportunities are also brilliant. The exposure to students is more given in aims as compared to mgm. Also the fee structure of aims Gorakhpur is also low. The approximate fees structure is less than Rs.2,000 per annum. This includes:
Registration fees: Rs. 25
Caution Deposit: Rs. 100
Tution Fees: Rs. 1350
Laboratoty Fees: Rs. 90
Student Union Fees: Rs.63
Hostel fees comes around 6,000Rs.
So choose accordingly.
All the best
You haven't mentioned your score or the Category that you belong to. Compared to 2019, the NEET 2020 cut offs have changed considerably higher than expected. With the top score being 720 which is 19 marks greater than 2019's top score, it is difficult to predict chances. But if you are asking about the comparison, you need to know that BJ Medical College is one of the oldest Medical Colleges while AIIMS has it reputation as the best research Medical centers. But because AIIMS Jammu is comparatively new to BJ, the infrastructure might be still evolving while BJ has already the best set up with acclaimed faculty. So if you can get BJ Medical College we think you should opt for it. But again, it is your call. For a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer .
Yes, it is possible. NEET and AIIMS are two different exams conducted in different ways. AIIMS counselling and NEET counselling are two different processes and are independent of each other.
AIIMS counselling is on the basis of marks scored in AIIMS entrance exam. Since the counselling occurs a little later than NEET counselling students tend join a college under NEET. However, If you have secured a seta in AIIMS counselling, you can leave the college you have joined under NEET and join AIIMS.
Hi Sanika
Yes, you should go for second round of counselling if no college was alloted to you in first round
Since last allotment for first round was 619, second round is going to be more tough because there are many students between 550 to 600
Considering your rank- 58907, there is less chance to get into AIIMS.
But you can try for mopup round in case few seats are left vacant
Keep your hopes high
Best of luck
Hi Aspirant,
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences is a very reputable group of colleges in India and the Bhopal branch is one of them. That college is up to AIIMS standards and is excellent in terms of Medical training and academics. However, one field that it needs development in is sports. It does not have a swimming pool in its campus.
