Hello Aspirant,

See it is little bit difficult to predict exactly whether you will get seat in AIIMS Hyderabad or not because this is the first time when AIIMS is going to conduct it's admission procedure through NEET exam and we can guide you only on the basis of previous year's cut-offs which is not there for AIIMS Hyderabad. Earlier AIIMS use to conducts it's own entrance test for taking admissions. So let us wait for the cut-offs to be out for this year.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor:-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

Hey,

At first many many congratulations for this extra-ordinary performance in NEET UG 2020. With your expected marks 641, it can be estimated that this year your rank should be in between 1126 - 2776 in India.

For reference:

https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor

Though AIIMS, New Delhi hasn't declared the official cut-off ranks of this year for all the top and esteemed AIIMS instituions, still after analysing the previous year's cut-off details it can be atleast assured that (considering you as a General-UR candidate) you've definite probability to get chance in  several renowned AIIMS instituions with this magnificent marks and rank. Because according to 2019's informations, the last qualifying rank in AIIMS was 2940 where your estimated all India rank in NEET 2020 is quite lesser than that.

Hence I should add here that your rank is genuinely suitable for getting admission in top instituions like AIIMS Raipur, AIIMS Patna, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, AIIMS Nagpur, AIIMS Guntur, AIIMS Rishikesh and AIIMS Jodhpur.

So don't need to be worried. Just be relaxed.

Now I would like to recommend you to go through some Careers360 articles provided through the following links minutely to ensure your admission possibilities in your desirable instituions:

Hope these informations and the above links will be quite beneficial for you.

All the best !!

Hey,

With 682 marks, you may get a rank between 20-88. You can check it here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank

Since this is the first time admission in AIIMS is being done through NEET, it is difficult to say about chances in AIIMS currently. But since you have a double digit rank, you can expect getting a seat AIIMS.

Based on previous year cut off, you will surely get a government seat in top medical college under 15% All India Quota. Some of the colleges in which you will get a seat are-

  • Maulana Azad Medical College
  • VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital
  • UCMS, Delhi
  • Seth GS Medical College, Mumbai

To get a complete list of colleges in which you will get a MBBS seat, you can use NEET College Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hello Aspirant,

For getting an seat in AIIMS Delhi one needs to score around the mentioned score based on their category for General it would be around 50-100, For OBC it would be around 230-290, For SC it would be around 2500-2800, For ST is would be around 2000-1500.

It's important for every student to keep note about the cutoff this year too.

Hope this helps

Thank you

Hey aspirant,

First of all I would like to congratulate you for securing such good marks in neet. Now, As per your mentioned marks your neet general rank would some where be around 6778 - 8428.based on this rank and seeing previous year cutoffs you may have few chances of getting seats into-

1) AIIMS JODHPUR

2) AIIMS, MANGALGIRI

But as we all know that cutoffs vary each year so it's not confirmed that you will be getting seats in these colleges. It is based upon the previous year cutoffs. Also in such good marks there are many more government medical colleges in which you can give a try. So, for that you can use the link mentioned below-

Hello there,
Congratulations!! You have scored good marks in NEET 2020. With 600 marks, your All India Rank will be around  7100 to 8800 approximately. You can get many good government medical college with this rank. Since you haven't mentioned your category, I'm assuming that you are from the general category. Getting a seat in AIIMS will be tough as competition is very high. You should apply for counseling. Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it.

Hi,
Firstly, I am listing few things to be kept in mind while choosing a medical college-
Location- you are going to spend your 5 most precious years in that area, so choose the one which suits you and your family.
Academics- well, academis in most colleges is almost same and you have to study on your own but the colleges you have listed above have the best faculties.
Infrastructure and technological advancements- choose a clg that can provide you with good technological advancements in medical sector
Hospital- choose a clg whose hospital caters to a large number of patients. This will give you a good clinical exposure in internship and will play a major role in becoming a clinician.
Internal pg quota- MBBS is not very easy but making it to a good pg seat is all that matters!
Future opportunities- getting into a college with good alumni network will increased your chances of getting more opportunities.
Cultural barriers- prefer not to get admission into a clg with language barriers as it is an important thing in your internship years.

Secondly, I am writing few facts about each clg mentioned above other than the regular info about acads, teachers etc
VMMC - you will get delhi quota for pg. Safdarjung hospital has the largest opd so you will get excellent clinical exposure, helpful seniors, good alumni connections, good pg:ug seat ratio(sort of internal pg quota), campus is not very big but college life is amazing. No service bond after MBBS. It is the college with fastest growing rate. I have never regretted my decision of choosing VMMC.
KGMU - caters large number of patients so good clinical exposure. It has a golden era of its own with great alumni. 2 Years of rural service bond.
AIIMS Bhopal>AIIMS Rishikesh>BHU - while you will get aiims tag in the first two, three of them are central universities with internal pg quota. I have ranked them according to my priority. U will also get good amount of research opportunities.
AFMC - Excellent clg but with a very disciplined life. Choose only if u want it, but it will be a good experience on its own. You will get chance to serve in the army but make sure you go through the bond for MBBS students there. Heavy amount is forfeited if the bond is not completed.
