Hello!

As per the past years cut offs for neet ug for getting admission in aiims for sc category, the cut offs this year will be around 40% (minimum qualifying percentage) & the percentile should be around 93.6+ percentile to be on a safer side. The ST category rank should be 210 around and overall rank should be 33100 (below).

I hope this helps.

Hello Saurabh

Dear , it is extremely difficult to predict marks required by you to get a seat in AIIMS

This is because,
Earlier admission in aiims was on the basis of Aiims mbbs entrance examination and  this it is the first time ever when AIIMS will be conducting admission through neet ,
also cut off marks for medical colleges including aiimd will depend upon various factors like

  • number of students that appeared in the exam,
  • kind of marks obtained by them ,
  • toughness level of the examination etc.

but yes getting into aiims is not going to be easy as seats are very limited  and the  competition is huge for Aiims , considering these things,
you should target around 650 + marks in your neet dear if you want to get a seat in Aiims if you belong to sc category

Good luck for your neet examination

Thank you

Hi Chaitra

This year AIIMS mbbs entrance examination has been scrapped off dear , so you don't need to register for aiims mbbs entrance exam as no aiims mbbs entrance examination is going to be conducted.

Now , admission to all the medical colleges of India including all the AIIMS is through neet examination making neet the only gateway to medical colleges.

So , if you have registered for neet then you are all good and if you managed to score good score then you may get into aiims for your mbbs.

If you are asking about any other examination then do let me know so that I can help you with relevant and detailed information

Thank you

Hello Preeti,

AIIMS M. Biotech entrance exam is not thst tough comparatively to IIT JAM and JNU CEEB but the competition is tough.

For preparation you must be thorough with your undergraduate subjects first. If you have good understanding of subjects like biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology, RDT and immunology, then you can easily clear your exam.

You can refer to some books for your preparation and also you must know 12th standard basics of physics and chemestry.

Hope it helps

Thank you!
