Hi Neeraj,
The minimum qualifying cut off percentage of BHU UET , is 35% for General Category and 25% for SC/ST.
From previous year's cut offs of BHU UET, I can say your chances for qualifying for maths honours under General Category is extremely less as the closing rank was 1026. However, you have high chances of qualifying under SC category as the closing rank for SC category was 627.
I must mention the cut offs this year will vary, based on the difficulty level of exam, number of candidates who gave the exam, total number of seats, last year's cut off trends.
Hope this helps.
All the best!
IIT Roorkee ECE is obviously much better than IIT BHU CSE, on most of the aspects be it Infrastructure, Outlook, Faculty and Research Facilities. As far as IITR is concerned you should not have any doubt regarding the Placement Prospects. IITR blooms with career prospects and opportunities with some of the major core companies for ECE include Intel, Applied Materials, Microsoft, Google, Texas Instruments, Nvidia, Samsung ,etc. Even if you are dead interested in CSE, you always get 2 chances at IITR to change your branch, which is unlike in other top 8 IITs. So decide wisely.

Hello Aishwarya,
Both of these universities-BHU and pondicherry university, are centralised and very prestigious ones. So, either of this is really good if you get admission for MA in English.
The campus like beautiful at Pondicherry university, alongside the sea, it's captivating. The food is not so good, though. All the facilities and in infrastructure is really nice here for the students. Banaras Hindu university, has a beautiful campus too. All kinds of necessary facilities are provided to the students here.
Being centralised universities, the teaching staff is really good. All the faculty members have at least 5-10 years of experience at BHU, and the curriculum is updated as per the latest trends. Same is the case with pondicherry university, the faculty members are highly qualified and knowledgeable.
The fees is a little high for pondicherry university, when we compare it to the other central universities, however, you can avail various scholarships if you are good at academics.
Regarding placements, none of these institutions provide any placements for masters of arts in english.

Hi.. Firstly it seems like you are interested in computer science. BHU is a government reputed organization so you can openly go for a Bsc degree in computer science from the same. It will be a 3year course. Similar course would be BCA as well. Btech is a great choice if you get a good college affiliated to AKTU ( UPTU is old name). Basically it depends what sort of job you want to do. Only BSC degree can be a bit difficult to get into a company as Btech ones are preferred. To ought to have a master's degree with BSC. Good luck and decide accordingly.
Hello student
You have got 42 marks in PET means post graduate entrance test. For general category student 35% marks is qualifying marks, for SC and ST SC student 25% marks is is qualifying marksheadphone OBC is also 35% marks is a qualifying marks through PET for BHU to take admission in postgraduate courses for arts and Science.
You have got 42 marks in PETfor MA political science of Banaras Hindu Universityi.e.bhu. IF the candidates in the stream of MA in political science is not so many for the year you have been applying for then you have a chance for admission in political science course in BHU for the respective year of session.
hi,
see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on some of the factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, difficulty level of papers . Based on previous years closing score you have less chances in bhu from general category, but you have decent chances in sc category in b.sc hons maths group. last year sc category female closing rank was 752. follow our article about bhu uet for more clarifications: https://university.careers360.com/articles/bhu-uet-cut-off

Honestly, I had a good time being a part of this college. Since I used to live in the campus Girls' Hostel, it became even more memorable. Hostel was quite inexpensive and very spacious. Usually, there were a lot of College Festivals that took place in IIT BHU and trust me it was one of the best experiences. Late-night walks, the beautiful environment and the calmness of the campus often felt like heaven. Ghats of Varanasi were cherry on the top.
The college has a very good infrastructure but hostel facilities are not excellent but can be considered fine 1. Classroom facilities are good and improving and digitalised 2. Very good library facilities both in central library and in institute library 3. Wifi is available but issues occur in the wifi 4. Hostel food not so hygienic but comparatively fine
The BHU campus is exquisite, its a mix of tradition and modernity, spreading across 1300 acres. The campus has Sayaji Rao Gaekwad central library, where students can find enormous numberof books and digital resources as it is equipped with cyber section as well. For those interested in sports, it has an indoor gymansium, swimming pool and large playgrounds. It has many seminar halls, auditoriums and a amphitheatre for all sorts of events. It has students health centre and hospitals to help students 24 x 7. there are cafterias and atms for the convenience and the campus also give the wifi facility.
